Mystery Story

In English we are writing a mystery story. It's very fun, because you can make up your own characters. And make it interesting. The only hard part is what are the clues, evidences, and the crime. My story is about 2 boys who got in a fight because one became too popular and wouldn't talk to the other boy. The 2 boys play on the same soccer team, and play the same position, but only 1 of them get to play. So someone takes the boys jersey who gets to play, and hides it somewhere. There's a twist in the story so I won't tell you anything more. I don't want to spoil it for you.

I think the hardest part of it is ending the story. I'm nearly half way done, and I don't really know how to finish the story. I know who committed the crime, and I have a motive. But it's really hard writing the last sentence. I read a lot of mystery books these days, but they're all killing, and murderers. In this class you're not allowed to have murderers, and I think that's OK. It's just really hard to relate stories if one is about killing, and the other is about stealing something from a rival.

Right now my story is 783 words long. And I'm only half way! Another hard thing to do is when people speak. You can't forget to indent, commas. It's also really hard using other words than said. May people only use said, and I think that's boring. I just can't think of anything else. These are the words I've used : said, bellowed, yelled, blurted, suggested, and that's all.

PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE OTHER WORDS OF SAYING SAID. PLEASE COMMENT!! URGENT!!

The Guide to Life

The Guide to Life
Bart Simpson
*****
This book is a book to help guide you through life. It's more of a humorous book, so don't take it seriously. The reason I gave it 5 stars was, because there are many pictures, and it's very colorful. Which makes it much easier for the reader to read. Some of the chapters are funny like:
1. How to get in language trouble
2. How to get your parents annoyed in long car trips
3. Lies that your parents tell you
4. What your parents think
5. How to make your secret language
6. Letters to get you out of classes etc.
Of course I didn't take it seriously, and you shouldn't. There's no graphic here, because it wasn't available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mystery Graphics and Definitions

Crime - There is always a problem that needs to be solved. There person holding the gun commited the crime.
Sense of danger - A sense of danger is when you think someone is going to get killed, or hurt.

Alibie - The person on the left looks like a bad guy, the hat, and the black. This is called an alibie.

Villan - I know, you might think Batman is a good guy, but in the movie he kills The Joker, which means he committed one of the crimes.

Detective - Mr.Monk is the best detective around, and solves all the crimes.

Monk

I think the villain ''Angeline'' was very sneaky. And it fits in perfectly with the case.... The only reason she sent the voodoo dolls to the other people was to throw the detective ''Mr.Monk'' off. She's a paramedic, and her uncle had a heart disease, so she knew exactly how to kill him without leaving any finger prints behind!!!! The reason she killed her uncle was because he had a lot of money, and she was the only relative he had.
