Jonas Journal Entry

Why me? I'm just like all the other kids, immature, childish... My heart stopped when I heard my name skipped, I was so apprehensive, everybody was looking at me when I got on stage, I felt like I could cry in a room. But when the chief elder, said that it was one of the most IMPORTANT jobs in the community, I was perplexed. What does this mean?

Clio Advertising

Clio was very smart, when they chose this. It simply means when you're driving the first brake is always children. And that Mercedes-Benz has impeccable braking skills.

1. Symbolism - The word "Child" represents a child on the road, about to get run over by a car.
2. Body Language - This means the way the model is placed, but in this picture there is no model.
3. Camera Angle - They put the camera on the bottom so that it stands out better.
4. Special Effects - All of the words are not clear, but the word "child" is the only word you can see clearly.
5. Lighting & Color - The dull color represents that it is not pretty to drive without a brake.
6. Beauty & Social Standing - This means there is a beautiful/attractive model, there is no model in this ad.
7. Layout & Graphics - The graphics are very good in this ad, I love that it only bolds out the child word.

Lunch break was AWESOME!!!

Today was the best lunch break ever, it was so fun, radical, awesome etc. So, I guess you all want to know what we did. Well first of all we just sat at the tables, and ate lunch. Then Val, Kayleigh, Badiyah etc realized I had P.E shorts on. And as I recall yesterday Val had P.E shorts on, and I pansed her. It's so Weird pansed isn't in the dictionary, and when I just typed it there was a red line under it. If you don't know pansed is when you pull down a persons pants. The best person to pans is someone with loose pants, and someone who takes it as a joke not serious. Anyway back to my story, Val remembered that, and the she pansed me out of now where I have to admit it was VERY clever. Val kept on pansing me, until I realized one of my other friends, Badiyah also had P.E shorts on. So I pansed her, and then everyone started pansing her, it's like they forgot about. But Val didn't forget about me, in fact she pansed me AGAIN, again, again, again , again, again, again, again, again, again , again, again, again, again, again, again , again, again, again, again, again, again , again, again, again, again, again, again , again, again, again, again, again, again , again, again, gain, and again.

And then I remembered Ashley had a water bottle in class so I asked her for it, and she gave it to me. I splashed the water at everyone who pansed me or tried to pans me! Then I wanted to pans someone, but they were all wearing jeans. So then Michelle walked to me, and I wanted to pans her, but then the bell rang, and she went back to her class (she was in my class). So I ran to her, and I didn't even realize that I was running next to a door, so in no time the door sprang open, and hit me in my right arm. I half flipped and fell on my back. A few people were crowding me, mostly the ones in my class. It didn't really hurt. I know it seems like it hurt, but it didn't really. It just burned a little. There was nothing, no scratch, nothing.

LUNCH BREAK WAS AWESOME, AND I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET IT!!!

Mystery Story

In English we are writing a mystery story. It's very fun, because you can make up your own characters. And make it interesting. The only hard part is what are the clues, evidences, and the crime. My story is about 2 boys who got in a fight because one became too popular and wouldn't talk to the other boy. The 2 boys play on the same soccer team, and play the same position, but only 1 of them get to play. So someone takes the boys jersey who gets to play, and hides it somewhere. There's a twist in the story so I won't tell you anything more. I don't want to spoil it for you.

I think the hardest part of it is ending the story. I'm nearly half way done, and I don't really know how to finish the story. I know who committed the crime, and I have a motive. But it's really hard writing the last sentence. I read a lot of mystery books these days, but they're all killing, and murderers. In this class you're not allowed to have murderers, and I think that's OK. It's just really hard to relate stories if one is about killing, and the other is about stealing something from a rival.

Right now my story is 783 words long. And I'm only half way! Another hard thing to do is when people speak. You can't forget to indent, commas. It's also really hard using other words than said. May people only use said, and I think that's boring. I just can't think of anything else. These are the words I've used : said, bellowed, yelled, blurted, suggested, and that's all.

PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE OTHER WORDS OF SAYING SAID. PLEASE COMMENT!! URGENT!!
